Time for every U. S. citizen to get out and vote. Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
As a result of Hurricane Sandy, displaced voters in NY can cast their ballots at any polling station in the state. Please call the NY Board of Elections at 1-855-NYS-SANDY (1-855-697-7263) if you have any questions.

What to Bring:
If this is your first time voting in a federal election in New York, you may have to present ID before voting on Election Day. Identification may include (but is not limited to):
- A current and valid photo ID
- A current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, or other government document that shows your current and complete name and current address.
If you’ve previously voted in a federal election in New York, you don’t need to bring an ID to the polls.
